Public Lectures - Causes of Volcanoes and Earthquakes

A volcanic earthquake is an earthquake induced after the volcanic eruption by the upper rock rupture or subsidence resulted from the subterranean pressure loss or void which happens because a lot of magma is spurted out from the deep mantle and no sufficient magma fills in timely. In the afternoon of March 30, associate researcher Ms. Li Xiaoli gave a lecture on Causes of Volcanoes and Earthquakes and how to avoid harm in earth quakes.
